my love language.

When Austin and I first got married (It will be 3 years in December) I had to read a book called the 5 love languages.  I remember when I read it that it said that your love language won't always stay the same throughout your relationship.  If I can remember my top one was receiving gifts?  And Austin was physical touch.
I decided to take the test again and here are my results:
Words of affirmation- 11
Receiving gifts & physical touch- 7
Quality time- 3
Acts of service- 2

"Words of Affirmation
Actions don’t always speak louder than words. If this is your love language, unsolicited compliments mean the world to you. Hearing the words, “I love you,” are important–hearing the reasons behind that love sends your spirits skyward. Insults can leave you shattered and are not easily forgotten."
-5 love languages

It hit the nail on the head for me!  I prefer hearing sweet nothings vs Austin washing my car or something.  Maybe that is why I enjoy hearing Austin say he misses me while he is in California.
