I finally decided to sign up for the Wilton's Icing class. I figured it would be a fun way to occupy my time while Austin is away. There are 4 courses and 4 classes in each course. Every Monday from 5:30-7:30. (in other words it will keep me busy for 4 months) Austin even went and bought me a fancy kit to go with it...
This week we were taught how to dirty ice a cake and how to do "stars". Here is my end result from the "star" section...
Once Austin comes home I will have no excuse for his birthday cakes to look like this anymore. Although, it was made with love and good intentions... it didn't look so good.
Hum, maybe I will attempt a 3 layer birthday cake...
